Mwabu educational content does not replace face-to-face teaching with e-learning, but supports classroom activities by providing comprehensive lesson plans and interactive. The material helps to broaden the range of pedagogical methods available to teachers while driving engagement and greater understanding among learners.

Introducing Mwabu Educational Content
Mwabu content is aligned with the Zambian primary school curriculum. There are 1000’s of lessons covering the entire syllabus from Grade 1 to Grade 7, with the early grades in eight local languages. All lessons are multi-media, with sound and imagery, voiced in English and, for the early grades, 8 local languages.
Our technology facilitates content localization for each country and is currently being used in schools in Zambia and South Africa. We sell world class educational products and services, specially created for African markets, to teachers, schools, parents, NGOs, donors and governments. Over the next years, we will be developing curriculum-aligned content for further African countries as we continue to expand. Our ambition is to reach 100 million learners.

The Pupil Edition is sold as part of the Total Learning Environment for schools, which uses the tablets in a blended learning environment as part of rotational group work, meaning one tablet loaded with content can be shared between many pupils through careful lesson planning (all provided), making it cost-effective and part of a wider, engaging lesson.
No internet access is needed for the content to be used in a school, no special classrooms are needed, and solar power can even be provided if there is no mains electricity at the school.
As well as the primary school multimedia lessons, the touch-screen tablet includes a pre-loaded version of Wikipedia and other child-friendly apps.
The teacher edition is available for individual teachers or as part of the Total Learning Environment.
